In spite of criticism from conservatives, Donald Trump is doubling down on his attacks against fellow GOP hopeful [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore]. The billionaire businessman is now calling the Texas senator a “hypocrite” who is “dishonest” and should be “out of politics.”
Trump claims Cruz is a hypocrite for taking campaign donations from New Yorkers who support same-sex marriage. “If Ted Cruz is so opposed to gay marriage, why did he accept money from people who espouse gay marriage?” he asked on Twitter.
Citing a New York Times story of a fundraiser for Cruz held by two gay New Yorkers, Trump said “hypocrites like Ted Cruz out of politics!”
Trump asked when Cruz would return contributions from “special interests that control him.”
Ted is the ultimate hypocrite. Says one thing for money, does another for votes. https://t.co/hxdfy0mjVw

When will @TedCruz give all the New York based campaign contributions back to the special interests that control him.

Greatly dishonest of @TedCruz to file a financial disclosure form & not list his lending banks- then pretend he is going to clean up Wall St
