Texas police officers sent a helicopter after Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel after responding to a potential domestic violence call early Saturday morning.

Police in Fort Worth, Texas responded to a 911 emergency call about a woman possibly being assaulted and came across an uncooperative woman claiming to be Johnny Manziel’s ex-girlfriend, according to Cleveland.com. The woman was found near Texas Christian University, which is where Johnny Manziel’s former girlfriend Colleen Crowley is a student. According to ESPN, the police feel it is possible that a domestic violence altercation did occur.

The Fort Worth police department sent a helicopter to search the area for Manziel after he couldn’t initially be located by police and his welfare became a concern. Eventually the Heisman winner was safely located.

Dallas and Fort Worth police are working together to determine if an assault did indeed occur.

This isn’t the first time that the notorious party-boy quarterback has had police intervene during a potential domestic dispute. In October 2015 the police were called when Manziel was seen arguing with Crowley. However, no charges were ever filed and Manziel didn’t face any discipline from the league. (RELATED: Police Intervene During Alcohol-Fueled Dispute Johnny Manziel Had With His Girlfriend)
