In case nobody has told you yet, Hillary Clinton is a woman. Therefore, any criticism of Hillary Clinton is sexist and misogynist and, let’s face it, more than a little rapey. If you’re a man, you should just keep your negative opinions about her to yourself. Also, if you’re a woman. But especially if you’re a man. (Men! Ugh.)
But don’t take my word for it. This is coming from a guy who’s been exactly where she is now. As Jenna Lifhits at the Washington Free Beacon reports:
When Howard Dean suggested Wednesday that people only criticize Hillary Clinton for her communication problems because she is a woman, Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski promptly shut him down…
“Look, I’m going to say this, and I’m gonna get jumped for it, but I gotta do it,” Dean said. “If she were a male and she were making these kinds of speeches, would people be criticizing her?”…
“Oh, my God, that’s desperate,” Brzezinski said.
“Desperate,” Mika? Really?
Ask yourselves, Americans: When was the last time anybody criticized a male presidential candidate for screaming at the top of his lungs?
Think it over. Think hard.
…
Give up? That’s because such an event has never, ever happened in the history of the world. Advantage: Howard Dean.
As if to prove Gov. Dean’s point, those sexist pigs at the Free Beacon have also put together this supercut of Hillary’s soothing, mellifluous tones:
Couldn’t you listen to her all day? Shouldn’t you listen to her all day? Just another reason why Bill has stayed faithful all these years.
