North Korea and South Korea have taken their animosity for one another to new heights after North Korea dropped balloons filled with cigarette butts and used toilet paper over South Korea.

The disgusting balloons caused such concern for South Korean officials that, “they initially feared a biochemical attack,” according to The Telegraph. Relations between the neighboring countries are particularly tense this week as North Korea allegedly plans to conduct a missile test under the guise of a space satellite launch.

Due to the rocket launch, airlines are changing their travel routes to ensure the safety of their passengers. The leaders of North Korea and South Korea, Kim Jong Un and Park Geun-hye respectively, “have both been accused of heightening tensions on the peninsula,” the New York Daily News reported.

North Korea’s new aerial tactic of sending horrendous balloons is not all that surprising, as South Korea frequently sends balloons filled with government propaganda over the border into North Korea.

The two countries are still officially at war with one another and have been since major operations of the Korean War ended.
