In what has become a presidential campaign must, Bernie Sanders appeared on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” hosted by Sanders’ facsimile Larry David.

Saturday, in classic Sanders form, he complained about the one percent and discussed socialism in a sketch entitled “Steam Ship” based loosely on the Titanic, but instead of crashing into an iceberg, the ship crashed onto Liberty Island. “I am so sick of the one percent getting this preferential treatment, enough is enough. We need to unite and work together if we’re all going to get through this,” Sanders said.

David replied, “Sounds like socialism to me.”

“Democratic socialism,” Sanders clarified. When asked what the difference between socialism and democratic socialism, Sanders said, “YYYYUUUGGGEEEE.”

Sanders later joked that since he had landed in America, he would change his name from “Bernie Sanderswitsky” so that is “doesn’t sound so Jewish.”

In another sketch, entitled “Bern Your Enthusiasm,” David portrays Sanders on the campaign trail while harkening back to David’s HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
