PORTSMOUTH N.H. — Outside a Bernie Sanders rally at Great Bay Community College, a pro-gun organization professed its support for Sen. Sanders and asked passersby to sign a petition in favor of requiring all Americans over 16 to carry guns.

The group “Arm Americans” claimed to be “friends of the NRA.” One of the members of the group, John Nelson, was wearing an NRA life member pin and claimed to be leaning towards Bernie because he’d been good to the gun industry before. This was obvious satire hitting Sanders and echoed past attacks from the Clinton campaign.

Hillary has previously said, “When it really mattered, Senator Sanders voted with the gun lobby and I voted against the gun lobby.” (RELATED:Clinton Political Ads Highlight Gun Control In NH, Hide Stance In Iowa)

Sanders has a D- voting rating from the NRA.

The two men from “Arm Americans” were later kicked out of the gymnasium hosting Sanders’s rally because they pretended to be members of the press. They were being filmed alongside another girl rolling their eyes and appearing bored while the Vermont senator spoke.

Flyers paid for by Hillary For America were also given out to attendents on their way in and put on car windshields featuring two Politifact “Truth-O-Meters.” The fliers called out Sanders on the rather petty lie of implying endorsements from local New Hampshire newspapers.
