Abortion Enthusiasts Freak Out Over Doritos Super Bowl Ad

Font Size:

We’re told that a woman has the right to choose. If that’s the case, why do abortion enthusiasts freak out when a woman chooses to look at her baby as a human being?

But let’s back up a second. Did you see that crazy Doritos ad during the Super Bowl? It was pretty bizarre:

This ad offended me, for the obvious reason: As the Clueless Dad character watched the ultrasound of his precious child, he was eating Doritos that weren’t Cool Ranch. Why would anybody eat Doritos that aren’t Cool Ranch? Gross! When it comes to corn chips, I’m anti-choice. Regular Doritos aren’t fit for human consumption, let alone for luring a kid out of the womb.

Other people are disgusted by this ad for less rational reasons. For example, here’s the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws:

“Humanizing fetuses.” Well, when you go to war, it’s crucial to dehumanize the enemy. Makes it a lot easier to kill them.

Here’s Mindy Kaling, who is some sort of actress, apparently:

Here’s HuffPo, being all HuffPo:

so_dont

Three examples make a trend, so I can confidently declare that baby-killers now hate Doritos. That’s good news for Frito-Lay, because this is free publicity and there are a lot more normal people than there are abortion enthusiasts. Most people see a baby and think “That’s a baby,” not “Quick, kill it!” Those folks are now prospective customers.

Depicting an unborn person as having human traits is a nightmare for people who make a living from killing little children, and for those who enable such awful people. Kudos, Doritos.
