MANCHESTER, N.H. — Speaking to The Daily Caller on the morning of the primaries here, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump downplayed the possibility of blowing away his competitors by a large margin, saying: “If I win by one vote, I’m happy.”

“We’ll have to see what happens,” Trump said as he left breakfast at the Airport Diner. “It’s very early. But we feel very good, very confident.”

Asked if he thinks some of his competitors will drop out after tonight, he responded: “I have to see what the votes are. It’s going to be a tricky night.”

“Call me tomorrow and I’ll let you know,” Trump added.

Trump says he plans to spend the rest of Tuesday making a few campaign-related appearances and doing media before his election night celebration here in Manchester.

“We’ll be around, making stops,” he said. “We’re making about five or six stops, doing a little television than I’ll see you tonight.”
