DMX is out of the hospital and recovering after he collapsed in a New York hotel parking lot on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old rapper — whose real name is Earl Simmons — was rushed to a local hospital after someone found his seemingly lifeless body outside of a Ramada Inn and called 911.
First responders gave him CPR and oxygen when they arrived on the scene.
He he had an asthma attack, his lawyer Murray Richman said.
“He was treated by police and the ambulance service, and taken to a Yonkers hospital,” Richman said. “I spoke to his wife this morning and he is home and doing well.” (RELATED: You Won’t Believe What Doctors Are Now Saying About Lamar Odom)
