MANCHESTER N.H — At a packed diner on Tuesday, Donald Trump responded to claims from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie that his border security and Social Security plans were “all make believe.”

“Oh no they’re so real, they’re so real,” Trump told the Daily Caller, “and I think Governor Christie will tell you today that they’re real. And I think the voters know they’re real and that’s one of the reasons people are tired about what’s happening at the border, they’re sick and tired of it.” (RELATED: Donald Trump Talks To The Daily Caller: ‘If I Win By One Vote, I’m Happy’)

The comments from Christie came during a Sunday town hall in Hamden, N.H., where he also performed an impersonation ridiculing Trump’s proposal that Americans will become so rich they don’t have to worry about Social Security’s solvency.
