Sen. [crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] took a shot at Sen. Bernie Sanders’ socialism suggesting, “If you want to live in a socialist country, move to a socialist country.”

During a campaign rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Thursday, Rubio said, “We are not going to be a socialist country. I’m not leaving my kids a socialist country.” (RELATED: Rubio Thinks Sanders Is Qualified To Be President Of A Country, But It’s Not America [VIDEO])

Addressing the crowd, Rubio said, “the choice [for president] we have is incredibly important. I want you to think about it for a moment. This is a little bit of a nightmare, so I’m going to take you out of this nightmare, but I’ve got to walk you through it first. Okay, you wake up… the day after the election and the news is saying, President-Elect Bernie Sanders.” The crowd attending Rubio’s event groaned.

“The only people that’s good news for is ‘Saturday Night Live’ because they’ve got a really good guy doing the Bernie Sanders stuff,” Rubio joked. (RELATED: Larry David Spoofs Bernie Sanders In ‘Saturday Night Live’ Parody Of Democratic Debate [VIDEO])

“By the way, I know Bernie Sanders. He’s not a bad guy. He’s a nice guy. You get along with him, but he’s a socialist. Usually, in American politics, when you call someone a socialist, they deny it,” Rubio said. “He says it in his commercials. So I give him credit. He admits he’s a socialist but the problem is like there’s 68 countries in the world who call themselves socialist. If you want to live in a socialist country, move to a socialist country.”
