Kanye West raps about having sex with Taylor Swift in one of the songs on his new album.
The 38-year-old rapper debuted “The Life of Pablo” during the launch of the third season of his clothing line Yeezy in New York on Thursday.
In the song “Famous,” West raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.” (VIDEO: Kanye West: ‘I’m Running For President In 2020’)
Swift said she didn’t approve of the song’s “strong misogynistic message” and that West never told her about the last line.
“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account,” a rep for Swift said on Friday. (RELATED: Kanye West Just Called This Republican Candidate ‘Brilliant’)
“She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”
The lyric clearly bothered Swift’s brother, who posted a video of him throwing away a pair of West’s sneakers. (VIDEO: George W. Bush Laughs Off Idea Of Kanye As President)
West later tweeted that Swift did approve the lyric.
I did not diss Taylor Swift and I’ve never dissed her…
