Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook complained about the “right-wing” when asked about the development in the email investigation ruled that Clinton’s top aides should be questioned under oath.

Tuesday, on CNN’s “The Lead” with Jake Tapper, Mook said, “Of course, they’re trying to subpoena people, of course they’re trying to get this into the news. And we’re just going to keep pushing forward.” (RELATED: Revealed: State Dept. Created Classified Email Account For Hillary, But She Never Used It)

Tapper said to Mook, “A judge in D.C. opening the door to future subpoenas for Clinton, for her longtime aide, Huma Abedin, looking to get a hold of personal emails that were not turned over to the State Department. Do you have any response to this news?” (RELATED: Rep. Issa: FBI ‘Would Like To Indict Both Huma [Abedin] And Hillary Clinton’)

“Well, Jake, we all know that the right-wing sees Hillary Clinton as the Democrats’ best chance to hold on to the White House and continue to build on the progress that President Obama has made. That’s why this right-wing group filed this lawsuit,” Mook claimed. (RELATED: Judge Says The Rest Of Hillary’s Emails May Have To Be Subpoenaed)

Tapper interjected, “But Robby, this judge appointed by Bill Clinton, I believe.”

“Well, it’s the judge’s decision to make,” Mook said. “My point is this is promulgated by a right-wing group. Our campaign is accustomed to these right-wing attacks and they’re going to continue.”

“Hillary’s going to keep talking about the issues that she hears about in South Carolina and other states like how we help people afford college, how we bring health care premiums down, how we help people afford prescription drugs. So we’re going to stay focused on what Americans care about,” Mook suggested. The “right-wing will make their attacks, we’re just going to stay focused.”

The judge that Mook is critical of is Emmet G. Sullivan, who was appointed by Clinton’s husband in 1994 to serve as United States District Judge for the District of Columbia. Sullivan’s initial appointment to the federal bench was to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia by Ronald Reagan in 1984. George H.W. Bush appointed Sullivan Associate Judge of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 1991.
