When he was on the red carpet before the awards show started, DiCaprio said he was “nervous.”
“I think we’re all nervous,” DiCaprio told Robin Roberts. “I’ve worked for almost over 25 years in this industry and here I am, you know, representing a movie that I feel so particularly proud of.”
“But more so than that, I’m here with my mother. I’ve been in this town for 25 years. It’s a big show.”
DiCaprio was nominated for an Oscar five times before he won. (RELATED: Leonardo DiCaprio ‘Raped’ By Bear In Gruesome New Movie Scene)
