NFL prospect and former Virginia defensive back Maurice Canady will be wearing a special pair of cleats honoring slain police officer Ashley Guindon at the NFL combine.
Canady’s cleat have the date of Guindon’s death and the words “never forget.”

Officer Guindon of the Prince William County police department in Virginia was shot and killed during her first day on the job while responding to a domestic violence call. (RELATED: Female Virginia Cop Fatally Shot On Her First Day)
Canady, who has a family member that is a police officer according to the school’s statement, is currently projected as a third or fourth round pick.
