Former spelunking enthusiast and al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden’s propaganda letter to the American youth who “support real change” disparages capitalism, defends global warming alarmism and even attempts to invoke President Barack Obama and Thomas Paine.

The letter was one of dozens the Director of National Intelligence declassified Tuesday as part of ‘bin Laden’s bookshelf,’ a collection of the documents seized during the mission that killed bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2011. The collection released Tuesday is the second trove of documents translated and provided to the public.

The attack on the U.S. financial system and the use of anti-Semitic remarks is immediate, with bin Laden claiming that “Jewish control” of capitalism has enslaved millions. He writes that “your current president [Obama] warns you now about the enormity of capital control and it has a cycle whereby it devours humanity when it is devoid of the precepts of God’s law.”

In an apparent attempt to seek rapport with readers, bin Laden says his “motivation” for the letter is the damage from enormous control of major companies that has “harmed your economy, as it did ours.” He then alludes to the 2008 financial crisis, claiming that the government used “taxpayer’s money to rescue the vultures by using the assets of the victims.” He says that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are a result of the supposed greed of corporations.

Bin Laden claims that it does not matter who occupies the White House, because they are simply a “train conductor” for lobbyists. He says that neither the Republican nor Democratic parties will solve America’s problems, instead he calls for a “revolution for freedom,” a revolution that should be led by the youth who should “relive the history” of America’s founding fathers, no less. It appears that bin Laden is quite the Thomas Paine fan, the writer of the famous American pamphlet Common Sense, as he encourages Americans to embrace Paine’s writing and apply it to today.

Bin Laden ends his letter by demanding a full return of Israel and the Palestinian territories to Muslims, completely rejecting the two-state solution promoted by presidents Bush and Obama. Even though he is responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocents, bin Laden claims “it is a sin to kill a person without proper, justifiable cause, but terminating his killer is a right.” Shortly after trying to justify murder, he ends by saying “the United States shall pay for its arrogance with the blood of Christians and their funds.”

Bin Laden was not available for comment and was last seen in 2011 sinking to bottom of the Arabian Sea.
