Judge Grants Request To Unseal Whitney Houston’s Daughter’s Autopsy

A judge has granted a media request to unseal Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy months after her death.

Whitney Houston’s daughter died last July, several months after she was found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta home. She had been moved to a hospice care facility in Atlanta in late June, and died while there. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk responded to a request from a local media station and agreed to unseal her autopsy in the coming days, WXIA News 11 Atlanta reported Thursday.

The state is expected to appeal the judge’s decision.

In September, medical examiners determined a cause of death for the 22-year-old, but the judge who ordered the autopsy sealed it and no further information was ever released to the public. (RELATED: Medical Examiners Determine Cause Of Death For Bobbi Kristina)
