NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Republican presidential candidate Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] took Donald Trump’s absence at CPAC as an opportunity to slam Trump. (RELATED: Donald Trump Drops Out Of CPAC)
Cruz began his speech Friday at CPAC saying, “God bless CPAC. So Donald Trump is skipping CPAC, I think somebody told him Megyn Kelly was going to be here or even worse he was told there were conservatives that were going to be here or even worse he was told there were libertarians that were going to be here or even worse young people that were going to be here.” (RELATED: Donald Trump And Megyn Kelly Play Nice During GOP Debate [VIDEO])

After Cruz’s final insult, a small pro-Trump faction began shouting “Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.”
