Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney read mean tweets from Donald Trump and Trump supporters Tuesday night on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
The first tweet was from Trump himself. “Mitt Romney had his chance and blew it. Lindsay Graham ran, got ZERO, and quit. Why are they now spokesmen against me? Sad!”
“Uh, got zero?” Romney commented. “The only people I know who ‘got zero’ are the ones who paid 25 grand to be at Trump University. They’re the ones who got zero.”
The next tweet Romney read, he actually agreed with. “Mitt Romney = Loser, who are you any way, and by the way where do u buy the shoe polish u wear in ur hair lol,” one person tweeted. Romney claimed, “That’s true, actually. I lost.”
Kimmel concluded the segment asking Romney how much he would pay for Trump to drop out of the presidential race.
Romney said, “There’s not a right price for that. Donald Trump just needs to get out of the race… let’s make people happy and let’s have a candidate we can be proud of.”
