Charlie Shortino of NBC15 out of Madison, Wisconsin, is now the proud owner of one of the most awkward and cringe-worthy moments in the history of news broadcasts.
A woman was talking about a dog up for adoption when the camera cut to Shortino.
“I think you should get a hotel room or something. That’s a lot of action going on there. Probably the most action you’ve had in months,” he told the woman about her and the dog.
The awkward silence in the studio was deafening.
