Leftist political commentator Donna Brazile blames AM talk radio for the rise of Donald Trump.
As a panelist on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, Brazile claimed, “Donald Trump has amplified everything that we’ve heard on talk radio for the last eight years.” (RELATED: Obama: ‘I Certainly Have Not Contributed To’ Dividing The Country [VIDEO])
“There’s not one AM channel when I’m home in the south or riding up in the northeast. They’ve been saying this kind of dog whistle– it’s a problem and people are not taking responsibility,” Brazile claimed.
“I denounce Donald Trump for not denouncing the kind of vitriol, the kind of violence that he has perpetrated with his angry rhetoric and he knows exactly what he is doing,” she said.
Later Brazile, the former campaign manager for Al Gore and former chair of the Democratic National Committee, added, “This is a guy who is now soaking up this hate and spilling it back out.”
