Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose reneged his endorsement of Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump Tuesday.

On Monday, Trump tweeted out the following picture picture of a baseball, touting Charlie Hustle’s support:

But on Tuesday, Rose’s attorney Ray Genco told The Washington Post they did not send the Trump camp any autographs. (RELATED: Pete Rose Wants To Make America Great Again)

“Pete has made a point not to ‘endorse’ any particular presidential candidate,” wrote Genco. “Though he respects everyone who works hard for our country — any outlet that misinterpreted a signed baseball for an endorsement was wrong. Pete did not send any candidate a baseball or a note of endorsement.”

Additionally, Genco told TheDC that Rose “signs a lot of baseballs and often gets requests to customize with pop culture references.”

“I can’t authenticate an autograph from a Twitter picture,” he wrote.
