President Obama Jokes About Baseball As Belgium Burns [VIDEO]

President Obama spent part of his Tuesday making jokes about baseball while there were over 30 dead in Brussels, Belgium from a terrorist attack.

While a massive terrorist attack shook Belgium President Obama talked with ESPN about the “stress” of throwing out the first pitch of a baseball game. (RELATED: ISIS Claims Responsibility For Brussels Attacks)

“We do a lot of tough stuff as president. By definition you don’t end up as president if you don’t handle stress well. Nothing is more stressful than throwing out a first pitch,” he told ESPN.

President Obama also briefly touched on terrorism during his interview with ESPN. (RELATED: These Images From The Scene Of The Terrorist Attack In Brussels Are Shocking)

“It’s always a challenge when you have a terrorist attack anywhere in the world, particularly in this age of 24/7 news coverage. You want to be respectful and understand the gravity of the situation, but the whole premise of terrorism is to try to disrupt people’s ordinary lives,” he said in part.
