MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” panel criticized President Barack Obama for being “vastly out of step with the entire American public” after he was spotted dancing the tango at a state dinner in Argentina a day after the Brussels terrorist attack.

During Thursday’s show, panelist Nicolle Wallace argued, “These were not advance staff gaffes. I mean, it’s so easy to blame the staff. That’s not who this was. This was Obama’s policy choice. His policy choice was to proceed with everything on his schedule and not to react to the threat of terrorism, and that is his prerogative.” (RELATED: Obama Dances Tango In Argentina)

“It puts him vastly out of step with the entire American public, not just Republicans. You heard Democrats yesterday, increasingly uncomfortable with the choices he makes at a moment of crisis.” (VIDEO: Former CIA Director Blasts Obama For ‘Straw Man’ Arguments In Fight Against Islamic Terrorism)

“There were mothers laying dead while their family members were at the crime scene yesterday, and to look like the priority is to go on a foreign trip instead of pausing for a minute and explaining that to America is a communications crime,” Wallace said. Liberal co-host Mika Brzezinski added, “Eight years in.”

Fellow panelist Richard Haas also said his dancing was a “tremendous mistake.”

Brzezinski started the segment by saying, “I think of the optics of the baseball game. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have gone, I feel like it should have been handled differently, everything about it.” (VIDEO: President Obama Jokes About Baseball As Belgium Burns)
