Democratic presidential candidate and socialist Bernie Sanders claimed Sunday night that as a result of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s “right-wing ideology … there is no question that people will die.”

During a campaign rally in Madison, Wisconsin, Sanders said, “Gov. Walker has allowed his right-wing ideology to prevail and to deny some 120,000 people in Wisconsin options to get into Medicaid and maybe, for the first time in their lives, have health insurance.”

“I think that that is a disgrace, Sanders, who honeymooned in the Soviet Union, claimed, according to The Hill. (RELATED: Did Sanders ACTUALLY Honeymoon In The Soviet Union? Da, Comrade [VIDEO])

According to Sanders, because Walker’s decision to not use federal funds to expand health insurance in Wisconsin “there is no question that people will die, people will become much sicker than they otherwise would have become.”

Recently rediscovered footage from the 1980s shows Sanders praising South American radicals, including the Soviet-funded Sandinistas. Sanders claimed, “It’s funny, sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is, that people are lining up for food. That is a good thing! In other countries people don’t line up for food: the rich get the food and the poor starve to death.”

Conservative estimates about the number of people that socialism has killed is 100 million when the victims of Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Kim Jong-Un and Kim Jong-il are all accounted for.
