The FBI added the ninth woman ever to its list of most wanted suspects Wednesday, alleging she is a jealous lover who had her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend murdered.

Brenda Delgado, a 33-year-old Mexican citizen, allegedly hired two hitmen in a jealous rage to kill Dr. Kendra Hatcher, a Texas dentist who was dating Delgado’s ex-boyfriend. She told one of the hired guns she was connected to a Mexican cartel and could get him drugs. Hatcher was fatally shot in her apartment’s parking garage in September.

Three other people have been arrested in the killing.

“Apparently she was jealous because the victim was dating her ex-boyfriend,” Special Agent Jason Ibrahim, a member of the FBI’s Dallas Violent Crimes Task Force, said in a statement.

The FBI offered $100,000 reward for information leading to her capture. She is charged with capital murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

“Brenda Delgado was able to effectively manipulate everyone she involved in her calculated scheme,” Thomas M. Class Sr., special agent in charge of the FBI’s Dallas Division, said in a statement. “Although she didn’t pull the trigger herself, she is still responsible for the murder.”

The FBI describes Delgado as a “Hispanic female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair that may be dyed a lighter color. She has a butterfly tattoo on the small of her back.”

She is the ninth woman of a total of 506 suspects put on the list.
