The trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” was released Thursday morning, giving everyone their first look at the spin-off film set in the Star Wars universe.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the movie stars Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. Last year, Edwards said the film “comes down to a group of people who don’t have magical powers who band together to bring hope to the galaxy.”
“It’s exciting because we’re not held to anything and we can be a bit more free, more brave,” he said. “And what’s great about everyone at LucasFilm is that they’re encouraging that.”
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is in theaters this December.
