Judge Andrew Napolitano says that Hillary Clinton is “laughing” at the FBI when she claims that agency is conducting a “security review” instead of an investigation.

During an interview with Bill Hemmer on Fox News’s “America’s News Room” on Friday, Napolitano argued that in fact Clinton does know that “she’s the target of the criminal investigation.” (VIDEO: Hillary STILL Won’t Use The Word ‘Investigation’ To Describe FBI’s Email Probe)

Clinton has insisted that the FBI is conducting a “security review” instead of an investigation.

“What she’s done is for the umpteenth time in public sent a dog whistle to the FBI, a signal to the FBI,” Napolitano said. “She forgot they were watching. She knows it is a criminal investigation, she knows she’s the target of the criminal investigation, she knows the government has an extraordinary amount of resources investigating her, and she is laughing at them. Not a good thing to do.”

“We know that they are at the end of their investigation because the second to last thing they do is call on the aides, which they did last week,” he continued, “And the very last thing they do is to call in Mrs. Clinton, which they will do in the month of May.” (WATCH: Klein: Comey And ‘A Lot Of Other FBI Agents’ Will Resign If Hillary Is Not Indicted)

He added, “In fairness to the Democrats, they probably should know and should want to know whether or not the person they may nominate could become a criminal defendant.”
