During an interview with NBC News, CIA Director John Brennan said that he will under no circumstances order a CIA officer to perform waterboarding or any similar interrogation tactics.

“I will not agree to carry out some of these tactics and techniques I’ve heard bandied about because this institution needs to endure,” Brennan stated. “I would not agree to having any CIA officer carrying out waterboarding again.”

Republican front-runner Donald Trump has expressed a desire to use “a hell of a lot more” than waterboarding as a means of gathering intelligence. (VIDEO: Trump Calls For ‘A Lot More Waterboarding’)
