In an exclusive interview with The Post and Courier, Bono had a few comical things to say about Sen. [crscore]Lindsey Graham[/crscore] (R-S.C.), the failed presidential hopeful.
The Irish rock star had nothing but compliments for the senator.
“He gets s— done in a way, in a place, where it’s hard to get things done,” Bono said.
He also marveled at how Graham keeps his ego in check, which of course, is a huge shocker for Washington. “He puts his ego away,” he said. “He puts even his politics away and he goes to work for people he’ll never meet or know. And that’s amazing.”
He later had a more peculiar compliment for Graham, calling him “one funny sucker.”
Probably best to leave that one alone.
