Bill Nye: Send Climate-Change Heretics To The Dungeons

Font Size:

Science is a method of learning about the universe we live in. Theories are presented, and then they’re proven or disproven via empirical data. Facts and reason are valued above all else. And most importantly: All dissent is crushed.

Valerie Richardson, Washington Times:

Bill Nye “the science guy” says in a video interview released Thursday that he is open to the idea of jailing those who deviate from the climate change consensus…

“Was it appropriate to jail the guys from Enron?” Mr. Nye asked in a video interview with Climate Depot’s Marc Morano. “We’ll see what happens. Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive, and so on?…”

About about the potential for a “chilling effect,” Mr. Nye said, “That there is a chilling effect on scientists who are in extreme doubt about climate change, I think that is good.”

Skeptics are affecting Bill Nye’s quality of life by saying things he doesn’t like. Well, my quality of life is affected by the toxic sludge emitting from Bill Nye’s mouth, but I don’t want to throw him in jail for it.

Why is this guy considered an authority on anything? He was the host of the second-best children’s science show of the ’90s (sorry, but it’s true), and before that he was a mechanical engineer and a sketch comic. That’s it. Hell, he’s never even managed a planetarium. Yet he keeps arguing from an authority he doesn’t possess.

Now he’s openly contemplating the idea of imprisoning people who disagree with him? What a clown.

But that’s the thing about fascists. They always seem clownish before they seize control and after they’ve been ousted. It’s the “during” part that really sucks.

Up yours, Bill Nye.
Signed,
The Defiance Guy
