ABC 13 Houston reporter Steve Campion helped a man who had driven his car into flood water on live TV.
Campion was about to begin a live broadcast when he saw a man inside of a sinking car. The man, identified only as Andy, was able to open his car door and escaped as it became consumed with water.
As Andy swam to safety, Campion rushed into the water to help him.

The man later told ABC 13 that he didn’t feel the water was too deep.
