During a taped interview with Stephen Colbert Monday, the Democratic front-runner said there’s too much potential for an embarrassing photo.
“It’s awkward eating in front of the press,” Clinton said. “They could get a funny shot. Something could drop out of your mouth. It could smear your face. Anything that makes you look silly is great.” (RELATED: Hillary Clinton Tells Black Radio Host She Carries Hot Sauce In Her Purse)
While campaigning in New York last week, Clinton refused to eat a bite of cheesecake in front of the press.
