First lady Michelle Obama has landed a spot on the CBS crime show “NCIS.” She is slated to appear in May as part of a joint initiative she started with Vice President Joe Biden’s wife Jill in 2011.

“Obama’s appearance on the popular drama will be part of her efforts with the ‘Joining Forces’ initiative,” the report says. “‘Joining Forces’ is a White House program to build and strengthen support for military service members, veterans and military families.”

A report in CBS says that the episode was shot at the White House and gives a sneak peek of what fans can expect. “In the episode, Obama invites Mark Harmon’s special agent Gibbs to the White House along with the wife of a Marine to take part in a Joining Forces military spouse roundtable — with real military spouses serving as extras in the episode.”

As previously reported, Obama does not like to watch herself on TV. No word yet on if she will be watching this episode set to air May 3.
