Chuck Todd warned that if America loses Europe, “the amplifier of American super power,” it will negatively affect Barack Obama’s legacy.

Appearing on “MSNBC Live” on Friday, the moderator of “Meet the Press” said that “one of the potential negative legacies of Obama’s eight years that whether it is on him or not, is if we lose Europe.”

“If we lose the ability of having Europe, it is the amplifier of American super power, of America’s super power. And if we lose Europe and you think about the migration, there’s a lot of ways we are losing Europe now,” Todd claimed.

“When I say ‘we,’ I mean European confidence of acting as one and being sort of the amplifier of American power and between the migration crisis, obviously lost confidence in the EU by the Brits, I mean this president has to fight for this, he has to because this is a huge foreign policy loss,” Todd argued referring to the Brexit.
