Conservative mega-donor Charles Koch revealed in an interview Sunday that he has no plans to support GOP front-runner Donald Trump and said one of Trump’s policies is “reminiscent of Nazi Germany.”

“Well, obviously that’s antithetical to our approach,” Koch replied when asked what he thought when he first heard Trump’s proposal to band Muslims from entering the United States. (RELATED: Koch: The Economy Is ‘Absolutely’ Rigged [VIDEO])

Koch added, “what was worse was this we’ll have them all register. That’s reminiscent of Nazi Germany. I mean that’s monstrous as I said at the time.”

Trump has denied that he wished to register Muslims, saying, “I didn’t suggest a database-a reporter did. We must defeat Islamic terrorism & have surveillance, including a watch list, to protect America.”

A reporter had previously asked Trump if he would be in favor a Muslim registry. Trump replied, “we’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely.”

It was reported in early 2015 that Charles and his brother David Koch were planning on spending nearly $900 million dollars on the 2016 presidential race.

However, Charles said Sunday he might sit out this presidential election.

“These personal attacks and pitting one person against the other — that’s the message you’re sending the country,” Koch said about the remaining Republican candidates. He added, “you’re role models and you’re terrible role models. So how — I don’t know how we could support ’em.”

The conservative donor and owner of Koch Industries even suggested he might support Hillary Clinton over the eventual GOP nominee. He said Bill Clinton was in some ways better than George W. Bush and that “it’s possible” that Hillary likewise would be better than the Republican nominee. (RELATED: Charles Koch: ‘It’s Possible’ Hillary Could Be Better Than GOP Nominee [VIDEO])
