Both Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Texas Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] would beat Democratic 2016 front-runner Hillary Clinton in Arizona during the general election, according to a poll released by the Behavior Research Center of Arizona Monday.

Republican front-runner Donald Trump would lose to both Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, the survey states.

Kasich faired the best among the Republican candidates, coming in 12 points ahead of Clinton yet losing to Sanders 47 percent to 33 percent.

Cruz had a slight edge over the former secretary of state, coming in at 43 percent and 38 percent respectively, yet lost to Sanders 44 percent to 32 percent.

Trump’s standing in the state can partially be blamed on his lack of popularity with women in Arizona, with just 28 percent of females saying they would vote for him. Clinton did not fair much better with the women vote, having no advantage with the demographic against Kasich or Cruz, according to the poll.

Despite Sanders self-declaring himself a Democratic socialist, he faired better than Clinton with members of the Republican party.

“Regardless of whom she is pitted against, only seven to 14 percent of registered Republicans are interested in voting for her. In contrast, Sanders attracts about a fifth of the GOP vote,” the survey reads. “And within the ranks of Independent voters who apparently have not been inoculated against the heavy anti-Clinton campaigns pursued by all the GOP candidates, Bernie Sanders attracts from 50 percent to 60 percent of Independents, while Hillary Clinton claims only 32 percent to 46 percent of their vote at the time of this survey.”

The poll was conducted based on 564 interviews with registered voters in the state between April 4-11 and leaves a margin of error or plus or minus 4.2 percent.
