Kid Rock’s assistant was found dead on the singer’s property Monday.
Kid Rock and his friend found Michael Sacha, 30, on an embankment near his driveway. He was last seen the night before when he drove two friends to the end of the driveway on an ATV so they could meet their Uber, and apparently wrecked on his way back.
No one noticed Sacha was missing until Monday morning, TMZ reports, and a spokesman for the Nashville Fire Department said Sacha was dead when they arrived.
“He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with,” Rock said in a statement on his website.
“I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss.”
The police said Sacha’s death has been classified as accidental.
