Nick Gordon: Whitney Houston’s Daughter Abused Drugs After Her Death

Nick Gordon said Bobbi Kristina Brown began heavily abusing drugs after her mother died.

During one of his first interviews since she died, the 20-year-old said his girlfriend did drugs “socially” before Whitney Houston died, but “it got really bad” after.

“It’s unfortunate, but at the time, that’s kind of the only way we knew how to deal with what had happened,” Gordon said during an interview with Dr. Phil. (RELATED: Judge Grants Request To Unseal Whitney Houston’s Daughter’s Autopsy)

“How does that happen to one person and then happen the second time?” he said. “It was just so similar. All the sirens and all that stuff. It was horrible.”

He recently spent time in rehab for his own drug problem.

“I was drinking so much at the time because I could not deal with what was happening to Krissy,” he said, using a nickname for Brown. “It mentally broke me — that’s the lowest part of my life right there. Rehab was something I needed and I’m thankful I got that opportunity.”

“Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney’s last few years on earth as happy as they would be.”
