Prince reportedly had no known will and his sister has asked a court to appoint a “special administrator” to handle the details of his estate.

On Tuesday, Tyka Nelson filed court papers stating that her brother had no will.

“Nelson filed the paperwork Tuesday in Carver County probate court,” AP reported. “Nelson says in her filing that an emergency exists because immediate action is necessary to manage Prince’s business interests.”

The singer was found dead in an elevator at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota last Thursday. The cause of his death has not been announced.

As previously reported, Prince’s brother-in-law said the family planned to turn the estate into a museum.

“Prince’s heirs could stand to inherit a small fortune,” the AP adds.”The size of the fortune isn’t clear, and recent disputes suggest money was tight.”

Prince’s net worth is estimated to be $300 million, according to the LA Times.
