Trump: Heidi Cruz Is Right, Ted Is A Canadian ‘Immigrant’ [VIDEO]

Donald Trump riffed on Heidi Cruz’s claim that her husband, Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] was “an immigrant,” arguing, “That’s what I’ve been saying… [Cruz] was born in Canada.”

During a campaign rally in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Sunday, Trump said, “Heidi Cruz, nice woman, said, my husband — you heard about this, right? Said this one, my husband’s ‘an immigrant.’ Right? ‘Is an immigrant.’ And that’s what I’ve been saying!” (WATCH All Of Trump’s Rally In Fort Wayne, Indiana) 

“Except a lot of people — I think she was trying to say, she was trying to put the little bit of a Latin turn on it. He’s born in Canada, folks. He was born in Canada,” Trump concluded. (RELATED: Heidi Cruz: ‘Ted Is An Immigrant!’)

Saturday, Heidi Cruz said, “Ted is an immigrant. He is Hispanic. He can unify this party.”

During the 2016 campaign, Trump has called Cruz “Canada Ted” and “Lyin’ Ted.”
