Texas Sen. [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore]’s New Jersey state director said Tuesday that Donald Trump is, in essence, “Hillary Clinton with a penis.”
“We’re going to do very well tonight. He will outperform expectations like he always does, I don’t believe the conservative base of this party is ready to throw everything over to Donald Trump,” Steve Lonegan said on CNN.
He added, “In essence, we’re not going to nominate Hillary Clinton with a penis.”
CNN’s Kate Bolduan was visibly taken aback and said, “Steve?”
“I said it,” Lonegan replied.
“Why do you guys always throw around the crazy on my show?” Bolduan then asked.
