Paula Faris, one of the hosts of ABC’s “The View,” said [crscore]Ted Cruz[/crscore] reminds her of the guy from ‘Dumb and Dumber’ who wouldn’t take no for an answer.
On Tuesday, the co-host linked the Republican presidential candidate to Jim Carrey’s character in the comedy.
“[Cruz has] run a campaign of integrity but it’s over,” Faris said. “He’s like the guy that keeps asking the girl out who won’t take no for an answer. Remember that scene? ‘Dumb & Dumber’ when he says ‘Like 1 in 100, and she says ‘1 in a million’ and he says ‘So there’s a chance?”
“Like the guy won’t take a hint, this is pretty much over,” she added. “It’s pretty much over for him.”
The topic of the Cruz campaign came after co-hosts watched the video that hit the internet from one of his campaign stops on Monday where his VP candidate Carly Fiorina fell.
