Caitlyn Jenner will reportedly wear nothing but her gold medal on the cover of an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated.

The former athlete, will appear in “nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal,” on the summer cover, according to US Weekly.

Jenner, (formerly known as Bruce) will do the cover “to celebrate the 40th anniversary” of winning the gold medal for setting a decathlon record at the 1976 Olympics in Montreal.

“She’ll pose with her gold medal for the first time post-transition,”the source told the outlet. Adding,“she’s excited about that.”

Jenner wrote in a blog post in 2015, she kept the medal hidden because of her kids. “I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.”

“I didn’t want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven’t displayed my medal,” he added.

Jenner announced to the world last summer on the Vanity cover his new identity and name change. He has also become a prominent voice for the LGBT community.
