Barack Obama commented on Donald Trump’s Cinco de Mayo taco bowl tweet suggesting that as a general rule, “I have no thoughts on Mr. Trump’s tweets.”
During a news conference from the White House briefing room on Friday, Obama was asked what his thoughts about the tweet were and he said, “I have no thoughts on Mr. Trump’s tweets. As a general rule, I don’t pay attention to Mr. Trump’s tweets. And I think that’ll be true, I think for the next six months. Since Trump tweeted a picture of himself eating a taco bowl less than 24 hours ago, the image has been retweeted over 78,000 times and has over 96,000 likes.
