Vice president Joe Biden says he is “confident” Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee and the next president.
In an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” set to air on Wednesday, Biden said, “I feel confident that Hillary will be the nominee, and I feel confident she’ll be the next president.”
Biden’s comments come while the Democratic nominating process is still hotly contested between Bernie Sanders and Clinton.
Host Robin Roberts told Biden, “You bring up the next president, we’re all anxious to see who that is [going to be].” However, before Roberts could finish, Biden joked, “Who she is.”
