Susan Sarandon is still holding out hope for Bernie Sanders to be the Democratic nominee and suggests Hillary Clinton could have health issues that could stop her from getting the job.

In an interview with Larry King, Sarandon said she’s not yet getting behind the first female to run for president and implies that unforseen health issues could prevent Clinton from getting the nomination from the Democratic Party.

King then presses her and suggests that she does realize that not voting for Hillary, she is in fact then voting for Donald Trump.

“I’m not saying I endorse Hillary,” Sarandon told King. “I’m not. I’m gonna say I’m gonna wait and see what happens. There’s a lot of things that could happen.”

The talk show host then asks what does she think could happen.

“So many things,” Sarandon answers. “She could have health issues. She could not get the nomination.”

‘”You think Bernie [Sanders] could get it,” asks King. “He needs a miracle.”

“Yeah, I think he can,” she added. “He’s a miracle that he’s even in this. I think that… now he’s been to the Pope, maybe there’s another miracle that’s going to happen.”
