Minnie Driver Reacts To Harassment Allegations From Neighbors

Actress Minnie Driver is reacting to the bizarre allegations from her neighbors that she has harassed them and made their lives “a living hell.”

The actress says that claims she would “speed her car towards” her neighbors and construction workers in an effort to stop construction on their home were false. Adding she carpools with her son Henry and other children and would never drive like that, according to a report in People(RELATED:Actress Minnie Driver Accused Of Harassing Neighbors)

“I would never drive dangerously with my children or with other people’s children,” she said. “That is an egregious allegation.”

As to the accusations of her throwing “baby food jars filled with black paint against the walls of their home.”

“I did not throw that,” she said. “I did not stoop to vandalism.”

Driver added, “He can make allegations. I’m just a person. I’m a single mom. I would ask him to stop only for my kid.”

“His aggressive conduct is escalating, and we are frightened about what Mr. Perelmutter will do next,” she went on. “Henry’s scared to come back to the house.”He wants play dates at other people’s houses until bedtime when he thinks he will be gone.”

Driver’s lawyer told People, that “Daniel Perelmutter has been the bane of his neighbors for years.” Adding that the lawsuit was “frivolous” and will be “successfully defended.”

As previously reported, Drivers neighbors, Daniel and Mary Lou Perelmutter filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior court last Friday that alleged the actress had tried to stop construction on their home.

The trial is set to begin in August.
