Lead singer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kedis, had to be rushed to the hospital with a “medical emergency” before a show in L.A.

On Saturday night, the bass player Flea, whose real names is Michael Balzary, told the crowd waiting for their show that they would unfortunately have to cancel as Kedis was at that moment on his way to the hospital, according to a fan’s video posted on Instagram.

“We are devastated about it, we’re really sad,” he said. “We love you so much. We live to rock.”

“Unfortunately, there’s a medical thing that happened and he needed to deal with it,” he added.
