“The outside world looks at it and says, ‘Wow, you were on the cover of Vanity Fair,'” Kelly said. “Well, yes I was — I was in lots of magazines, including the cover of some, before Donald Trump.”

“Let me just say this,” she continued. “I have worked for everything I have. My father died when I was 15 years old and I put myself through law school. I clawed my way up. I work my way up to primetime Fox News. I had the number two show in all of cable news, and then I had the August debate with Donald Trump.” (RELATED: Everyone On Twitter Just Decided Megyn Kelly Won The Fox News Debate)

Kelly’s sit-down with Trump airs Tuesday night on FOX Broadcast at 8 p.m. EST.
